Newave SA once again took part at the world’s largest IT trade fair with its own stand and can sum up CeBIT 2012 as very positive. Overall, participating exhibitors rated CeBIT 2012 as a highly successful show. Surveys revealed yet another rise in the number of business contacts initiated and leads generated, and exhibitors reported lively visitor traffic throughout. Trade visitors came with highly specific agendas and quickly got down to the business of working out the details of their ICT investments. This further substantiates CeBIT’s unparalleled effectiveness as a global platform for lead generation.
This year, Newave has been exhibiting in two interesting and important thematic areas: large-scale power protection systems and industrial applications. Astrid Hennevogl-Kaulhausen, Managing Director Newave USV Systeme GmbH, comments: “Visitor numbers and the interest in our products at the stand were extremely pleasing, and we were able to make many new contacts. We give the trade show a very positive rating and it was a good decision to come to CeBIT 2012 as an exhibitor. The show was an outstanding communication platform for us and we are very pleased with how things went at this year’s CeBIT.“
Decision-makers from every sector of the economy – industry, commerce, the skilled trades and services – came to Hanover in search of technologies that make their business more efficient and more competitive. In spite of a strike on the busiest day, the visitor tally weigh in at well over 300 000 attendees from more than 110 countries – including more than 50 000 visitors from outside of Germany.
“CeBIT remains a highly valuable platform for Newave and its partners. New partners appreciated the opportunity to meet Newave’s team, to get a comprehensive overview of the Newave portfolio and to exchange information with various staff members. This year’s edition was particularly important for existing partners after ABB’s acquisition of Newave. During the show ABB executives were present on the booth – an unmatchable opportunity for Newave subsidiaries and partners to talk about market opportunities” comments Pierre-Alain Gubelmann, Sales Director Newave SA.
